Beltain in the Park

Below are some pictures of the San Diego Beltain in the Park. It was a humble event and the theme was Fairy (not Feri). The ritual opened with the casting of the circle and the aspurging and cleansing of the populace then a little bit of theatrics and bam the Maypole was danced!

It was nice to be out with the Pagan folk, even if some of them were a might strange even to me. Still there was some community feel and I had my Feri posse, Dominic my teacher and Katheryn who was recently initiated, with me so things were fine and dandy. It was nice event and we had a lovely picnic. My favorite picture is of Dom, Katheryn and I and also me with the peacock fan (Want! Want!! WANT!!!). Enjoy!
